Jogging and Treadmills

I've been trying to jog more these days, but it's bee so hot that I've ot been going outside to do it. Last week I tried jogging on the treadmill. It was the first time I ever attempted to do anything more than walking on the treadmill. I was really surprised when it was easy.

I've been trying to jog for about 15-20 minutes at the end of my regular workouts. I am able to set the speed between 4.8 and 5.2 and maintain it! I never thought I would like jogging. Two and half years ago I would have told you that you were insane for suggesting jogging as a form of working out.

As an added bonus to all of this treadmill jogging, the treadmills have tvs with cable. I o'nt have cable, but the treadmill does. I've been able to catch up on shows I've misses since I cancelled my cable. My gym is also 24 hours so I might start going to late night walks just to cathc up on primetime shows!


  1. That's my strategy too! Usually I'd be done in 30 minutes, but if I'm in the middle of an hour long show I have to keep going. ;-) Works great for getting in workouts that are a bit longer.

  2. I love catching up on shows at the gym-with kids I don't see hardly anything anymore.

  3. That's awesome! I'm considering cancelling my cable as more of an incentive to get my butt to the gym... but child won't hear of it! lol
