Update....what happened to April?

Thanks for all the comments about my pull ups. I was very excited about it.... Also, I will get some more pictures posted. I don't know why I have been lacking in the photo posting.

Anyway, here are the totals for April. My measurements are not reliable anymore. I know that probably sounds like a cop out, but there is skin shifting and all kinds of crazy things. I had no change in inches this month. I'm still at 92.5 inches lost, forever, from my body. I mean, 92.5 inches is a lot! I'm not gonna complain about that!

As far as weight, I lost 2 more pounds over the month. A lot of my lack of weight loss is my own fault, but I'm on a new meal plan and I'm beginning to lose again. I'm now down 127 pounds from where I started.

The other day someone left a comment wondering what I weigh and how tall I am. I've never said on this blog how much I weigh. For some reason, I'm not totally ready to admit out loud how much I used to weigh and how much I weigh now. I shouldn't feel embarrassed about it, but I do. I've been thinking a lot about it these days and I think I'm getting closer and closer to actually posting all that info. I will just force myself to take the plunge and post it, embarrassing or not. I mean, most of you that have blogs post how much you weigh.

Oh, but I am 5'2".....yea, pretty short.

  1. I personally like it when bloggers write out their actual weight and how the progress has gone. I have a tab just for that purpose and many other bloggers do as well. You have a lot of progress pictures, so the proof is in them, which is great. I just feel like I'm being honest with my readers and myself, even when it is embarrassing. You're here to lose weight, the number will go down.... you will also be able to share your 'goal weight' and we can watch and cheer you on as you get close to your own magic number. :)

  2. I think the important thing to remember is that the people who read your blog are more than likely here because they can relate to you through your posts and your pictures. Obviously it's up to you whether to reveal your stats, it is definitely a personal thing, but I thought I'd just let you know that we aren't here to judge you now or before but we're here because we like you, we want to support you in every way possible and we think you rock! :)

  3. I too have not posted my weight (I may have mentioned my height) for the exact reasons. I think people have to do what is right for them, not what everyone else is doing. I imagine I too will post it eventually, but right now I'm not "there" yet. Obviously it hasn't been detrimental to your weight loss & knowing you've lost 127 is so impressive, doesn't matter where you started!

  4. I have to admit that I was really curious about your height because of that picture of you showing that your old belt is longer than you are tall. It was impressive, and you look tall in that photo. It was mind baffling. :) It still is impressive and mind baffling. Congrats on all that you are doing!

  5. I'm late-but YAY on your pull up! Clearly the leg kicking worked!

Tell your weight when you are ready...or never. It's totally fine-this is your journey.
