So, I have been back on the meal plan for almost a week. I usually only weigh myself twice a month, but I weighed myself today. 4 pounds gone. So it really goes to show that what you eat counts just as much as how much you work out! I wish I could eat whatever I wanted, but I just can't. I have to be responsible! Counting calories is key.
I'm over on Facebook too. Facebook.com/notaneffingdiet
I'm so much better at updating my FB page!
I've been reading a lot of the blogs I used to follow! I'm glad to read that everyone is still being successful!

Update
I'm turning into the worst blogger ever. I have no time to post these days. I guess I'm too busy for my own good. I've been reading blogs when I can, but I don't have a lot of time to comment.
Anyway....May was difficult. I'm not even gonna lie. It was getting warm, and I was very busy. I don't have any problem working out. I work out 6 days a week. It's the meal plan that is starting to get tricky. My days have been so crazy and they are different every day. I'm also getting Spring/Summer fever. My focus starts to lag this time of year.
So, I only lost 1 pound last month. Oh hell, I could have lost more, but I haven't even weighed myself in a week. I do the every other week weigh ins and this was not a week to weigh. So, I'm going with the 1 pound loss. It' s shameful, really. I should be on better behavior. I have no one to blame but myself. So I've lost a total of 128 pounds.
I am still not measuring. The last few times I've measured, my measurements have been really crazy. I can only think it's because of shifting skin. Janelle seems to think so too. It's gross to think about. I know my measurements are changing though because my clothes fit differently each time I wear them.
Now that it's getting warmer, I've been really pushing the water. I know I am drinking a gallon or more of water a day. I'm trying to cut back on my coffee. I just drink too much. I need to have 2 cups in the morning and call it a day with the coffee. I really drink about a pot in the morning and I sip on coffee throughout the day. Don't worry though, I drink black coffee, so no added calories.
Also, I need to get a BodPod soon. I've called the lady to make an appointment, but she has yet to call me back. I'm hoping to do that in the next week or so.
My sister is getting married in about 2 weeks, so I will continue to be busy!!

Update....what happened to April?
Thanks for all the comments about my pull ups. I was very excited about it.... Also, I will get some more pictures posted. I don't know why I have been lacking in the photo posting.
Anyway, here are the totals for April. My measurements are not reliable anymore. I know that probably sounds like a cop out, but there is skin shifting and all kinds of crazy things. I had no change in inches this month. I'm still at 92.5 inches lost, forever, from my body. I mean, 92.5 inches is a lot! I'm not gonna complain about that!
As far as weight, I lost 2 more pounds over the month. A lot of my lack of weight loss is my own fault, but I'm on a new meal plan and I'm beginning to lose again. I'm now down 127 pounds from where I started.
The other day someone left a comment wondering what I weigh and how tall I am. I've never said on this blog how much I weigh. For some reason, I'm not totally ready to admit out loud how much I used to weigh and how much I weigh now. I shouldn't feel embarrassed about it, but I do. I've been thinking a lot about it these days and I think I'm getting closer and closer to actually posting all that info. I will just force myself to take the plunge and post it, embarrassing or not. I mean, most of you that have blogs post how much you weigh.
Oh, but I am 5'2".....yea, pretty short.

Update time!
We're gonna pretend like I wrote this yesterday!
In December I did manage to lose weight. Not as much as I should have, but I still lost. As I said in a previous post Christmas was really tough; worse than Thanksgiving.
Anyway, let's get down to business. I lost 3 pounds. That makes a total weight loss of 113 pounds. Now, as far as inches go, I lost 5.25 inches. That is a big inches loss for the month. I do have to come clean though, I did gain about an inch in my leg, but I know that is just muscle, but I lost from everywhere else. Ok, I also didn't lose from my arm, but that hasn't changed in like 6 months. So, now I've lost a total of 85.75 inches.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed that I was able to lose 3 pounds between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had a lot of temptation around me. I fought the temptations as much as possible, but I can't be perfect all the time.
However, I did accomplish a few things that I thought were impossible. I did not eat the cookie dough when I was baking. I didn't lick the bowl, I didn't lick the beaters, and I didn't sample the cookies as they were coming out of the oven. When I realized I could handle baking without snacking my way through the process I realized that I could do just about anything, because cookie dough is freaking tasty.
Now it's a new month and a new year. There are no big holidays coming up and I don't have any big events to attend. I will be able to stay focused and not have any temptation in my way.
I've been killing the workouts lately. I do need to back off a smidge though because my left shoulder has been hurting and so has my left hip.....not sure what that means, but it makes me think I'm getting old!

Monthly Update!
Seriously? The end of the month already? I'm so not ready for November. I guess that means I have to update my pounds lost and inches lost.
So, I had Janelle take my measurements today. She has been saying for the last few months that my measurements might start getting crazy. I'm still losing weight, but I have that dreaded problem of skin...I hate to admit it, but there is loose skin everywhere. I'm ready to just grab some scissors and cut it off. Zach told me he would help.
Anyway, I only lost 1/2 inch this month....kinda sad. Seriously, my arms, legs, and chest have hardly changed in the past few months. I've been preparing for this, but I'm just a little sad about it. It makes me want to work harder though.
So, I lost 5 pounds since last month. I feel like it should have been more. I've pretty much been working out 2 times a day for the last month. Janelle had to do two a days to get ready for her show, so I did as many with her as I could. I've also been sticking to my meal plan.
I do know that the less weight you have to lose the slower you lose it. I do know that I've been working just as hard as I always have.
I guess that makes my new totals 78.5 inches lost and 110 pounds lost. Don't get me wrong, I'm still proud of myself. I'm not quite sure how in the hell I've stayed positive about this for almost 2 years.

Update time.
So it’s the end of the month and that means it’s time to get weighed and measured. It was a pretty decent month. I’ve officially lost a total of 79 pounds. I’m totally ok with that because that’s 5 pounds in one month. I’ve was hoping for a nice round 80, but next time. I have 21 more pounds to go until I’ve lost 100 pounds and I have until May 11 to get there. I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be a problem. I have Spring Break coming up so I can work out twice a day if needed.
I only lost 2 inches since last month so that’s a total of 49.75 inches lost. I’m ok with that. Last month was something crazy with over 6 inches lost! I’m pretty sure that was due to the yoga. I just started it at the beginning of January and I think it gave me a boost.
So, on an unrelated note I want to thank you guys for yesterday’s comments. I made myself laugh because I’ve never taken the time to learn all the different lingos that go along with different technologies. I have no clue what most texting acronyms mean and I really don’t know what most of the blogging acronyms mean.
Anyway, I kept seeing NSV in my comments and on other blogs. I was finally like, “Ok, what the eff does that mean?” I Googled it and here’s the first thing that popped up.

So, I saw the nullsoft streaming video and I was like, “That doesn’t make sense. Why would they say that?” I also like that it’s an acronym for the Nazi People’s Welfare Organization. I finally saw it on the third one down and it clicked…non scale victory. So, thanks! Now that I know what you’re talking about I feel like I’m in the loop!

Just a quick update.
I started a new meal plan on Saturday. It’s a pretty good meal plan. My calories actually increased! According to my newest Bod Pod my lean mass went up 2 pounds, so I get to have more calories to keep that muscle going. I’m totally fine with it.
The meal plan is almost the same as the old one so I hardly notice a difference; thank God. Usually I do notice a difference and I’m grumpy for a few days while I adjust.
I’m also paying more attention to how much water I’m drinking every day. I should be drinking around a gallon. Most days I do get close, but I’m really trying to be exact every day. It’s not really hard, because beside my black coffee I only drink water. The only problem is the increased trips to the bathroom. Once I get adjusted again it won’t be a problem.
I had to weigh myself on Saturday and I’ve officially lost 76 pounds. I’m not gonna lie; I’m pretty excited. I only weigh myself every 2 weeks; otherwise I would be on that scale every day and freak out.
Zach, Janelle, and I also set a date for me to be at 100 pounds lost; May 11. I’m ok with this because it’s only 24 pounds. I usually lose 20 pounds in 3 months so I will have to step it up just a tad to get those extra 4 pounds. Ordinarily I would not want to set a goal to be a certain weight by a certain time, because I think that's setting me up for failure, but I really want to get to 100 pounds lost, so I’m willing to bust a little ass to get there. I think having the date in mind will help.
Now for my favorite update: I’ve been Sweating to the Oldies. Mom got the DVDs in the mail and I borrowed one. Honestly, I can only handle about 20 minutes at a time. I know I love Richard, but he is a lot to handle. I’m not a dancer, so the videos are perfect. They are totally ridiculous and you kinda feel ridiculous doing them. Really, you just laugh at yourself the whole time which makes it even more fun. I took the DVD with me to Kelly’s one night and I made her check it out too. She can dance and she is goofy as hell. She was really getting into it and she was sweating her ass off after a few minutes. I think I’ll try to get Kelly to do the workout with me a few more times because it’s easier to get into when a friend is with you. So if you’re looking for something easy and fun, get a Sweating to the Oldies DVD; seriously.

That's a lot of inches.
I weigh myself every other week and I get measured near the end of every month. So, the other day I weighed myself and I have now lost a total of 74 pounds. I’m not losing as fast as I was when I started all of this, but Janelle keeps reminding me that the less weight you have to lose the slower you lose it. I hope that makes sense. It made sense to me anyway. I was still kinda bummed.
I was able to lose about 4 or 5 pounds every two weeks. Now I’m losing only 2 or 3 pounds every two weeks. I keep telling myself that I’m still losing and I’m losing at a good pace. Janelle also reminds me that I could do a crash diet and lose all of my weight really fast, but then I would probably gain it right back. Not to mention how unhealthy that is. I mean, I could do Adkins, but then I would die because I would have no carbs to help me sustain brain function, and that would be really unhealthy.
So, yesterday was my day to get measured. (Side note, no one ever bothers us at the gym while we take our measurements, but yesterday they just really seemed unhappy about us doing our own thing. Oh well.) So Janelle did my measurements and she kept making shocked sounds. Ashley and I wanted to know if these were good sounds of bad. I guess they were good, because I had lost nearly and inch or more off all of my measurement. I added them up later and it was 6 ½ inches total. I was shocked then.
Usually I lose about 3 or 4 inches each month. So I was super excited to see these numbers; excited enough to write a whole blog about it. My total inches lost are now 38 inches and I’m noticing that my inches lost are gaining on my pounds lost! I’m not going to lie; it made me feel good to see that. I’ve been getting upset about the even slower weight loss, so seeing the spike in inches lost made me feel a lot better. I sometimes have to remind myself that I lift, so I’m building a lot of muscle.
I also have to get a Bod Pod this week. I’m looking forward to that. I can’t wait to see what my lean mass has done since my last one. I know I won’t be disappointed. I’ve also recruited some new people to go with me. So that should be exciting.
